Join Terri and a volunteer 10 a.m. at the SISS classroom (next to the main office). We’ll have a language lesson and then walk two blocks to the fire department (141 Ross St. NE). Staff will talk about fire safety in the home, offer free smoke detector instalment, and give us a tour. Come sit in a big red fire truck – photo opportunity! Free snacks and beverages. You don’t need to register – just drop in! Note: the tour is very interesting, so it may last until 12:30, but you can leave earlier if you need to.
