Join Terri and a volunteer for a family-friendly outing to the library!
10:00 a.m. Meet Terri at the SISS office. We’ll walk to downtown Askews, taking bus 25 to Piccadilly Mall (Bus 25 leaves Askews at 10:40 a.m, arriving ~10:45 a.m at the mall. Free bus ticket). You can also drive directly to Piccadilly Mall if you want (A volunteer will be waiting at the library entrance at 10:45 a.m.).
11:00-11:30 a.m. Enjoy story time with Ardie in the library; kids can also “stay and play” from 11:30-12:30 (with adult supervision).
11:30 – 12:30. We can pet Lilly, a therapy dog, anytime up to 12 noon. Terri has also booked the small meeting room at the back of the library. Enjoy snacks, beverages, and a short lesson on library resources (Bring picture i.d., including one with your residential address on, to get a library card).
Bus. Get another free bus ticket from Terri if you want to go back downtown (Terri is leaving with bus 25 at 12:47 pm, arriving 1:00 pm at downtown Askews).
