English Class + Using Requests on Town Walkabout

Join us for a lesson on making polite requests, using modal verbs and other constructions. After that, we’ll take a short walk around town, asking businesses about putting up posters for the next Shuswap Theatre play. Everyone will have a chance to make real-life requests! You are also welcome to return to SISS afterwards to warm up in the classroom (before the 1:00 pm art workshop at the wharf). You can enjoy snacks and beverages, including coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for little and big kids alike! Marshmallows, anyone?!
As always, children are welcome. There is no childcare on Saturdays, but we have a wonderful playroom.
