English Class – New Year’s Resolutions & McGuire Lake
January 10, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join Terri and a volunteer in class for a lively discussion on practical tips for setting and keeping your New Year’s resolutions. You’ll also write goals in a letter to yourself and mail it at the post office. After that, you can join Terri for a walk around McGuire Lake (Maybe getting more exercise is even one of your objectives?!). Stamps, envelopes, snacks, and beverages are all free. (Note – maybe you already talked about goals during “What’s the Tea,” the SISS virtual meeting on January 7th. However, you are more likely to achieve your aims if you write them down and tell more people about them).
Children and youth are welcome, but no childcare is available, so parents/caregivers need to keep an eye on kids.
