DESCRIPTION:Are you stressed about tests? CELPIP? IELTS? The driving knowledge test? Another exam? Join Terri and Pamela (a retired teacher) from 10-12 in the SISS classroom for a practical lesson on how to prepare. We’ll brainstorm methods for all four skills (reading\, writing\, speaking\, listening). In addition\, we’ll discuss what to do before\, during\, and after your test. Pre-registration is recommended but not required. DESCRIPTION:It’s movie day – the new Superman movie! Come join Terri and a volunteer to watch a movie at the Salmar Grand Theatre (100 Hudson Avenue NW). Youth are welcome with parents (PG 13). Please meet at 1:15 pm outside the theatre so that Terri can buy the tickets and we can all sit together. The ~2-hour movie starts at 1:45. Please pre-register – limited seats! Terri will give you a summary of the show before it starts (There is NO English class on Saturday morning).
