DESCRIPTION:Join us in class for a lesson about the Sixties Scoop (In the 1960s\, many Indigenous children in Canada were taken away from their families). We’ll practice all four skills and review pronunciation for regular past tense verbs. \nAfter that\, we’ll walk to the Art Gallery/Centre  to view their new exhibit\, A.R.E.N.A. babies\, by an artist and Sixties Scoop survivor. Finally\, we’ll enjoy a little picnic under the yellow tent outside the gallery. \nComplimentary snacks and beverages available. If possible\, please also bring a snack to share at the picnic. DESCRIPTION:Join us in class to learn all about insects (often mistakenly called bugs)! We’ll begin with a four-skills lesson on relevant vocabulary to underpin our discussion. After that\, our guest speaker\, Dr. Art Borkent\, will tell us about insects in Canada and Costa Rica\, one of his research sites. Come ask questions and see his interesting exhibits! (By the way\, you may have seen Art around town on his bicycle.) \nComplimentary snacks and beverages.
