In Loving Memory of Diane Desrosiers, Co-Founder of Shuswap Immigrant Services Society

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Diane Desrosiers’s passing.

Diane and her husband Bernie Desrosiers founded Shuswap Immigrant Services Society in 2008. Since that time, the organization has provided services and support to the many newcomers who have made the Salmon Arm/Shuswap area their home. Diane worked tirelessly in the society’s office for years, giving clients practical assistance as well as caring emotional support. We grieve for Diane, our friend, colleague, and mentor. We honour the memory of this wonderful woman whose passion, generosity, leadership, and commitment to serving others has inspired and changed so many lives in our community for the better. Dear Diane, you will be deeply missed.
