SUMMARY:Winter Emergency Preparedness Info. Session
DESCRIPTION:Winter storms can cause power outages and freezing temperatures\, so it is helpful to plan ahead. Be aware that pipes can freeze during very cold weather\, particularly if the heat is off for an extended period. Keep an emergency supply of non-perishable food and other essentials on hand\, along with flashlights and extra batteries. It is also a good idea to keep important emergency contact information and local emergency resources easily accessible\, so you know where to turn for help when needed.\nWe will also have a pot luck supper in our multipurpose room to discuss this topic and prepare for extreme weather events.
